Phurlijharan
Phurlijharan is a 16 meter high waterfall near Bhawanipatna. This waterfall is situated in the middle of a forest and is known for the multicolored rainbow that can be seen here. It is an ideal picnic spot located 16 km from Bhawanipatna.
Dokrichanchra
Dokrichanchra is a beautiful waterfall. waterfall from 24 meters. About 80 years ago, a temple of God Ram was built in this place. Because of this Ram Navami, 9 days long festival occurs every year which attracts tourists from throughout Odisha.
Mardiguda
Mardiguda is a birth place of river Indravati. Three lines water started from a mango tree just after 40 km it takes a giant look and Indravati project is there. Speciality is that the line spreads same flow through out the year.
Karlapat wildlife Sanctuary
Karlapat Wildlife Sanctuary is a wildlife sanctuary located in Kalahandi district and a very popular tourist attraction of Odisha in India. Karlapat Wildlife Sanctuary is about 15 km from Bhawanipatna, the district headquarter of Kalahandi district. The sanctuary covers an area of 175 square kilometers.

Maa Manikeshwari Temple
Manikeshwari Temple is located in Kalahandi district of Odisha. The temple is located to the south of Bhawanipatna. The main deity here is Goddess Manikeshwari. She is the Ishta Devi of Nagavanshi Khyatriya’s. During Dussehra festival, animal sacrifice is offered at this temple.
Hello Point
Hello Point is a picnic spot and valley view point. It’s present on the top of the eastern ghats from where half of the Kalahandi district is visible including Junagarh, Kalampur block etc. One can receive signal from all telecom services for mobile, therefore it is named as Hello Point.
Zilla Sangrahalaya Bhawan
Zilla Sanskriti Bhawan was inaugurated on June 2009 by S.J. Murli Dhar Chandrakant Bhandare (ex Governor of Odisha). It has both District library and a museum with private historical artifacts and documentation of the history of ex- Kalahandi state.
